Powertek Awarded USDA Contract for PMB Support 04.29.10 Rockville, MD – Powertek is pleased to announce the award of a contract with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to support the Washington Communications and Technology Services (WCTS) in the creation of a new branch, the Project Management Branch (PMB) to serve as the central point for monitoring, managing, and reporting on MS WCTS projects and internal initiatives. Using Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) to establish best practices, Powertek will define a standardized process for data collection and reporting of project data to enhance WCTS’s ability to analyze and support business management decisions.
