Rockville, MD – Every three years, GSA Auditors visit Powertek to assess our systems and methodologies for record keeping, reporting, and managing modifications to our GSA contracts. Alex Vanjani, Powertek’s Contracts Manager, is responsible for organizing and maintaining all records, providing backup materials, and ensuring visibility of all billing and compliance for each contract.
Powertek’s records for the last 11 quarters were scrutinized to verify that all GSA sales were captured and up-to-date; schedule rates were appropriately tracked; discounts were applied according to GSA policies; and that work performed was within the scope of each contract. In addition, GSA tracks whether our reporting is on time, and whether we use the latest e-technologies available to provide information to GSA.
Due to Alex’s diligence, Powertek received an assessment rating of “Exceptional” for our compliance with all aspects of organization, record keeping, and reporting for GSA Schedule 70.
“Mr. Vanjani works year-round to make sure we are organized, in compliance, and that our contractual reporting is on time. He was readily available to the GSA auditors to provide information and answer any question while they were here. His efforts ensured our success.” – Steve Miller V.P. of Finance
