Powertek Awarded National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Help Desk Service Contract

Rockville, MD -- Powertek Corporation is pleased to announce the award of a five year contract with the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to provide Help Desk services.  The main focus of our new role will be to maintain the Information Technology Assistance Center (iTAC) Tier I service desk services using the ITIL framework.  We will also work to ensure continuity of normal operational services and as well provide technical solutions and a full knowledge-base for our new customer. 

Powertek’s Director of IT Infrastructure & Cyber Security Operation, Mr. Andrew Vanjani expressed his enthusiasm regarding the NIST opportunity…“We are excited to be expanding our award-winning Service Desk solution to support our new NIST Customer.”
