Powertek Corporation to Kick Off DHS Contract to provide Capital Planning and Other Program Support Services

Powertek Corporation has kicked off a project to provide the Department of Homeland Security, National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD) Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) with a variety of program support services.  Program support services include Capital Planning and Investment Control support, Policy and Budget support; and Strategic Planning and Communication support services.  Powertek President, Nancy Scott expressed her excitement about the new effort, “We are thrilled to be supporting DHS on this important task. This is our first DHS contract, and we are anxious to demonstrate our value to the Agency as they begin the new year with important strategic initiatives under a new administration.”

The initial scope of the contract is approximately $750K, with extension options.  “We hope that this contract will lead to growth and sustained presence in DHS” says Ms. Scott, acknowledging the visibility and importance of the project.
