Powertek Corporation President Nominated SBA Small Business Person of the Year for 2008

The Washington District of the U.S. Small Business
Administration has nominated Nancy Scott, President of Powertek Corporation as
SBA Small Business Person of the Year for 2008.
SBA is expected to name the national recipient of
this award in early 2009, drawn from nominations from each state and the District of Columbia. The nominations were based on several
criteria, including staying power, steady growth, strong financial performance,
and contributions to community-oriented projects. According to Ms. Scott, “I am truly honored to have this opportunity to just be named as a
nominee. One of our most cherished core
values is to be a good citizen to the community as a whole, and to be socially
and ethically responsible to our employees, our customers, and our community.”
