IDIQ Project Manager

Security Clearance: Public Trust (or ability to obtain)
Basic Experience: Eight years in IT services management, including all aspects of process development and execution, and 5 years of direct experience managing task order contracts valued at over $50 million.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day management of multiple concurrent Government task orders, ensuring that technical program tasks and schedules are met.
- Act as a project champion for systems related projects and oversee various projects of a highly complex nature.
- Assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and budgets.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Provide ongoing support and expertise to assigned team and direct task order activities through successful completion.
- Manage the task orders and assigned resources throughout the project life-cycle.
- Track and report resources, schedules, and budget variances from plan. Plan and manage the transition of highly technical projects and direct completion of tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints.
- Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and current.
- Coordinate the production and review of all contract required reports, cost and schedule reporting for all task orders.
- Confer with corporate and customer management to define problems and/or risks and identify alternative technology approaches.
- Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables.
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
- Brief senior Government personnel.
- Demonstrate high energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
