Professional Development
Powertek has an in-place Professional Development Program to build staff technical expertise, enhance knowledge, and facilitate interpersonal skills and overall business performance. We offer generous tuition reimbursement to help develop employees and further our business goal of Service Excellence. We also provide classroom training at our Center of Excellence (eCenter) and make available formal training classes, online courses, and on-the-job training to our employees. 

Professional Certification
Powertek places strong emphasis on ensuring that our employees have industry-recognized professional certifications. To date, more than one-third of our employees have received certifications as ITIL Foundation or Practitioner; Project Management Professional (PMP); and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) through our Professional Certification Program.

Mentoring
Mentoring at Powertek is an exciting part of our business philosophy. The goal of Powertek’s mentoring program is for our employees to gain insight and advice from our managers, technical subject matter experts, and top leaders through mentoring and shadowing relationships that help transfer the knowledge and expertise of our experienced workforce.

Management and Leadership Development
Our PowerTrack Program is the core foundation for management and leadership development at Powertek. Employees apply to participate in this management and leadership training program to achieve their goals of becoming leaders and managers at Powertek. Our program includes:
